The 5kms-long stretch of wonderful golden sands is a welcoming sight to sunworshippers as well as to windsurfing, water-skiing and paragliding enthusiasts.
About 45 minutes drive from Corfu Town, this lovely area on the south-west coast is a good selection of tavernas and shops plus a couple of music bars. Inevitably, new developments are taking place, making St George slightly busier every summer.
